Inpatient Care
LaFollette Medical Center's inpatient treatment programs are designed to help adults manage immediate crises and achieve optimal functioning and emotional stability. Family-oriented programs encourage all members of the patient’s support system to participate in the healing process.
The multidisciplinary team provides stabilization, evaluation, planning and treatment services in a safe, secure environment with 24-hour nursing care. Trained behavioral health professionals address the mental, emotional and physical needs of patients, and help patients learn coping skills to manage their condition effectively.
We develop a customized treatment plan for each individual that draws from a variety of services and therapies, including:
- Individual, group and family therapy
- Leisure skills and exercise groups
- Patient education
- Assistance with goal setting
- Stress management and relaxation techniques
- Reminiscence therapy
- Memory and mental status assessment
- Medication management and medical stabilization
- Discharge and aftercare planning
- Activity and occupational therapy
- Care from evaluation through recovery
In addition to intensive inpatient treatment, we also offer partial-hospitalization programs and outpatient services at some locations.
